Terre a Terre will never give your details to anyone else unless you have requested information from a third party. When you register with us and when you are logged in, your information is captured on our secure server. All our employees and data processors who have access to, and are associated with the processing of personal data, are legally obliged to respect the confidentiality of our customers personal data.

Customers who shop with us can choose to join our loyalty scheme 'terre a together' to receive loyalty points that can be redeemed in the restaurant, information on our promotions and periodic shop online discount codes. 

We are committed to protecting your privacy and will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998, the General Data Protection Regulation (from 25th May 2018).

 

What information do we collect about you?

The type of information we will collect about you includes: your name, address, phone number, email address and if necessary any allergies.  This is for the purpose of making a booking for our restaurant, online via the internet, in person or the telephone. If you make an enquiry on our website or email address or asking us to add you to our mailing list or you are making an online purchase. If you contact us via social media, using a third party website to book a table.  These are necessary for our legitimate interests only. You can opt out of any or all our communications at any point by contacting mail@terreaterre.co.uk.  You have the right to request access to your personal data, the right to erase your personal data, right to withdraw consent.

We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using a 'cookie' which will be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. However, please note that this may hinder the successful functioning of the site. All calls are recorded for monitoring purposes.

Coronavirus data collection.

Data provided to us as part of your booking may also be used, and shared with third parties, for the purpose of administering the UK Government’s Test and Trace process. Data will only be shared if we are required to make any records available to the health authorities if they wish to follow up on suspected outbreaks, and in such circumstances, it will only be relevant data which is shared. Data will only be used for the additional purpose of Test and Trace for a period of 21 days after the date of visit. After this time, our standard retention rules apply to any personal data we hold.
